If it rains Friday, DORBA will have the trail closed anyway. So here's to hoping for good weather.

Tanner: 10 miles isn't that bad. The full loop at NS is 20+

Do you have enough headlight to ride northshore at night? That place is dark!

Edit: I just saw my typo - I meant 11 am

                            Description
The most well-known and most used trail in the entire metroplex. This is an old motorcross trail that was first used to cycle on by Tom Deans, a long-time DORBA trail steward. This trail runs between Rockledge Park and then west, past Twin Coves Park on the north shoreline of Lake Grapevine. 9.5 miles each way for a total of 19 glorious miles of multi-terrain, multi-skill-level trail. The east side is good for intermediate riders while the west side is considerably more technical in spots. There are several "rock gardens" on this side, a real challenge to ride through. Watch out for hikers and other bikers speeding around bends. An average of 800 bikers visit per week, so be extra careful!!
