Wut. I was polite about it, and walked out in front of a 15 person deep line.
They don't have onion rings either. Al Gore invented the internet just so people like you won't waste time standing in line for things they can't get. You might as well go to a Chicago concert and get mad because they didn't play any Skynyrd songs.

Personally I'd rather go to In and Out than Kincaid's. It's a whole lot faster and for $7 I can get a double cheeseburger, fries and a drink. At Kincaid's that'd barely cover a drink and single burger and it'd take 20 minutes. Plus if you go to the Camp Bowie location you might have to drive round for 10 minutes to find a parking spot.

Then again if I want a great burger I'd go to the Rodeo Goat. Sure it's a $9 burger but they are all freakin awesome and they have several dozen great beers available. Otherwise Whataburger's patty melt with jalapenos is all I need.

In and Out is alright, but it's not the end-all-be-all of burgers as the CA transplants lament. Its-a-simple-no-frills-burger. Period.

That said, I do like the mess of the Animal fries.

I&O's allure was that it wasn't something readily available in texas. it's nothing spectacular, just a basic burger. I'll grub on it when i'm in cali or vegas, but other than that i'm out.

fuck the hype. Their shit sucks. JITB, Wendy's , Whataburger, Carls Jr, BK..their food is better, is cheaper, and you can have it made how you want it. Getting past the previously mentioned fast food joints....Mixed-up burgers at GP municipal airport and in North GP off 360 makes a damn good burger. Prices are good too. There are quite a few shops in the DFW metroplex that make MUCH better burgers than the fast food joints like in-n-out, wendys, jitb, etc...just gotta find them and try them out.

Whoa whoa whoa... Let's not go overboard here...

Yep. At least we still have localized El Pollo Loco and Foster's Freeze that require a helluva drive.

I simply drove across the parking lot and went to Kincaids, a Fort Worth tradition. Where the sign is hand painted (a dying art), they have bacon, they have mayonnaise, and they embrace Fort Worth.
I enjoyed my burger, got an apple flavored piece of gum just like I did 20 years ago, and rolled out like a boss.

I feel guilty for trying to go to that commie ass burger joint.
California, you can keep your hamburgers.
Give me whataburger and Kincaids for life.
Ha, all that effort just to get a dry, tasteless burger at Kinkaids? You sure won that battle!

I'm still meh on I&O. I've had it a couple times and it just doesn't do it for me. I'm sure the purists will smite me, but if I lived in a land of no Whataburger, I would not miss it. 10 years ago, maybe, but it seems to have gone down hill in the last few years.

I for one like In-N-Out, but I take my cheeseburger with ketchup only, so it suits me. JITB used to be good, until they started using those god awful seasoned burger patties.

They dont have chicken or anything my wife will eat, so I dont put them on my list of pick-up places either.

And just for Danny, Ive never had a bad burger at Kincaids in Arlington, but Ive had a lot better burgers elsewhere, too.

in todays burger news....."Brewster’s Burger Bar: Because what W. 7th really needs is another burger restaurant. This one will be so different, dontcha know? February/March."
"Fuego Burger: Cheffy Mex-Mex dive Salsa Fuego announced a few months ago that the restaurant will move a few feet over to the old Red Dragon space and that Salsa Fuego’s current digs will morph into Fuego Burger. Makes perfect sense to me. One of the reasons I go to Salsa Fuego is for the excellent burgers. Look for a summer opening. "

If you guys are ever in Akron I'll feel sorry for you since it sucks there but they do have Swensons. It completely kicks every other fast food places butt. Their biggest burger is $4.15 and it's delicious. Ridiculously fast service, cheap prices and great food. It's like a Sonic but way cheaper, faster and a better.

We'll take in an in n out on ocassion when in a hurry but it is on par with the steak n shake.
We hit the Whataburger and enjoy that as well as the Burger Street on 20 n cooper(green oaks too).
For the sit down we like Jimmys big burger (byob) on south cooper a little south of commercial Dr.
I also like the little burger place at Bowen and pioneer right by little walmart. They have draught beer and treat us right. Also a tv for the rangers when in season .
I want to try the place at the grand prairie airport . How late are they open on Fri nights?
