Ketchup/catsup question

Why does ketchup on scrambled eggs taste good, but on a fried egg, it is not even a consideration? It's still a fucken egg! Ketchup on a fried egg has no appeal, but some jalapeno ketchup on scrambled eggs is the bomb!

Ketchup only if salsa not available. This is TX. Now syrup on either is the way to go. Especially if hash browns involved

When I’m mixing my hash browns with scrambled eggs it might get mixed then, and that is not bad. Straight up, no way.
