To the above poster: Where do you find 4% bison and how much is it per lb?

I've been getting ground bison from Walmart, of all places. Was $4.97/lb for a while, but jumped to $6.98 recently.

Do you guys taste a difference in bison? I've never had it before.

I love bison. It makes ground beef taste bland.

We use half lean ground beef, half lean turkey.

Or, sometimes we substitute the turkey for bison, but bison is about $5/pound.

Or, sometimes we will get really radical and go half turkey/half bison.

I buy lean ground turkey breast from the butchers by the pound. I love it, been eating ground turkey for years.
