there was a place local to me that did a burger with a thick slice of ham, slice of pineapple, and a fried egg, with a teriyaki/hawaiian jerk type spread that was pretty legit

I can't get over the fact that you get to go live the rest of your life, knowing that someone made a Halloween costume out of you. LMAO!!
Eggs really make me gag sometimes. I can only eat them scrambled and they have to be somewhat dry or full of cheese.
You're not alone. I like eggs, but only if they are scrambled pretty dry. When I eat a big breakfast I will eat a half dozen or more, but I can't stand them gooey at all.
I like them in breakfast tacos, too. If there is meat mixed with them, they don't have to be quite as dry.
I'm a picky eater and I don't care what others think. It's not like I'm going hungry.

were you the guy that cant have any food on the plate touching another food?
Food touching still bothers me some, depending on what it is. I also used to only be able to eat one thing at a time. Ex: Steak, taters, and corn for dinner? Steak first, then corn, then potatoes. I couldn't go from one thing, to the next, then back to the original item.

But, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.

I used to do the same.
Food touching doesn't bother me. Its the food that has liquid that runs into my meat that bothers me. Corn, green beans, etc. I hate that shit running into my steak or protein.
Also, I am the type of person to eat the best bite last. So I will work around that part of the sandwich, burger, steak, whatever and then eat the best bite. Occasionally, my wife has the audacity to wait for me to get to that point and start to take a bite of my food. She gets a pretty pissed off stare.
