Smoke Pit Bbq off of Belknap in Ft. Worth has a bad ass smoke 2 inch thick pork chop. Wish i took a pic. Thats their special on friday for 14 buck. If you have not been go early or plan on waiting in line . Plus is bbq with a view.

I've been going for years and I would have concurred with you as of a year ago. However, in the past year, the food has actually gotten better. Next time try a side of beans with pico on top.

We used to go every week on Tuesdays also. The ribs were pretty damn good.

They do have some awesome ribs. The porch chop is kind of meh. You can call ahead and reserve one. It's not a bad deal and it's good but it's not the most awesome thing in the world.

Their land has been sold to developers btw. They won't be around for much longer.
