Food is about average, chicks are kind of rough looking , the best looking BBQ wait staff in the area is Bone Daddy's

It's basically river front property right in the middle of two huge projects.

Those 4 acres will be worth $20 million+ in the next 5-10 years if everything goes as planned.

My house is one mile from there. It's the 'hood right now, but hopefully in a few years this old house will be a good investment. Lots of stuff on the drawing board.

I'm sure you'll be okay. I can't wait to see what they do with the river, hopefully when they build the Samuels Ave dam it raises the level all the way to Benbrook. It'd be awesome to be able to canoe all the way to downtown.

Danny, you should check out Mckenszie's BBQ.

            154 North Riverside Drive

It's inside a liquor store and it's ran by what I'd call a BBQ Nazi. The food is usually pretty good, not the best in the world but at least it's entertaining to watch the manager yell at everyone.

Then it should be obvious but Bluebonnet Cafe kicks ass. They have the best Huevos Rancheros I've ever had and the taco salad is awesome. All the Lucille Ball stuff on the walls is weird but the food is great.

The Cafe on Belknap itself has a great lunch deal but it's hit or miss sometimes depending on whose running the kitchen. Chicken fried steak or chicken with 3 sides and a drink for $7.99 last time I was there. It's full of geriatric smokers and a guy in the corner that drools on himself but you can't beat the price and again the entertainment is on point.

Oh and of course Griff's. The one over there is an absolute dump but the burgers are awesome.

Fuck THAT shit. I don't go south of 121 on Riverside for much of anything. I might, if they start a little gentrification first.

Everyone says that. I've tried to go there probably six times before, and every time I do, it's closed. Early Saturday morning - CLOSED. Tuesday evening - CLOSED. Maybe I'll get lucky someday and see it actually open.

I don't know this one. Do you mean the Dixie House Café? I used to go to the one on Blue Mound Rd and 820, but the food was just okay, at best.

Had lunch there today. Been going there for years. It's okay, especially for the price. And the food beats the living hell out of Clown Burger in Haltom City, although I kinda like all the local décor in that place.

If you haven't already head to Martin House brewery on Sylvania for a tasting event. Its cheap fun and dog friendly.

                  I haven't. I'll go check it out!

I tried to rent a space next to them when I moved out here. The leasing company wanted $1800/mo for an 800sf bare warehouse. I guess that's the price you pay to have an awesome view of the Trinity and easy access to all the crack hoes a man could want.

                      Monday - Saturday: 6:30am - 2:30pm

The other one I'm talking about has the cop and Marylin Monroe mannequins on the roof. I used to go there once a week when I worked at Hudiburg 15+ years ago. It's still the same kitchen and wait staff.

Martin House is okay. You can drink beer with 200 other people and their dogs in a parking lot. The lot is spacious but there isn't much else there. The inside is packed! Call me biased but I'd rather do a Rahr tour, even though dogs aren't allowed.

Oh, okay, yeah - I know that place. It's in the Haltom Plaza parking lot, where Hwy 10 and 377 meet. I've been a couple of times; it's a good little spot for breakfast.

FYI, a few weeks ago they knocked down the Go-Go China building that was in the middle of that weird intersection.
