Looks good but I always do a whole chicken... way cheaper and my kids and I love dark meat while my wife only likes white meat so it works out better for us. It would also be closer on the smoking time for you if you did the whole chicken. Save me a rib?

My wife is the same way. I just cut it off for her. I usually carve the breast down into slices anyway. Thighs are easy to de-bone too.
