Tilapia recipes?

I don't know what tilapia eat, but catfish don't eat shit. In fact, they aren't primarily bottom-feeders like many people assume. They are meat-eaters and consume lots of large, live prey, from all depths, including the surface.

I've had several different kinds of fish. Some I like, some I don't. Both catfish and tilapia taste just fine to me.

Order some walleye if you ever come across it at a place to eat.

Catfish is good, but must be cooked the day its caught imho. Even vacuum sealing its not as good. I bleed mine out as soon as im going home as well.

Crappie and perch are great, but small portions. Trout and salmon as good as they might be they are greasy imho and not for everyone. Ill only eat them smoked.

I used like fish as a kid then i went for about 15 years hating it. Now my taste have changed back and i really enjoy it.

Tilapia is like catfish. They eat shit, literally. Municipalities use them in water sewage and water treatment plants. They really are a garbage fish, and you can tell by the taste. I agree that it is a good entry, but don't stick with it for long. Once you graduate to more quality fish, you will wonder how you ever ate tilapia.
