Homemade salsa is the best, not too many restaurants get it right.

I just tried the El Fenix salsa and it's ok. It's got a good kick, which is a plus, but I'm not a fan of salsa that has that Taco seasoning flavor. That's the reason why I hate On the Boarder salsa.
I prefer the taste of raw onion, cilantro, garlic, with an intense kick of jalapeño in mine. I might have to start making my own again.Hellcat Charger

I just tried the WalMart Chipotle Garlic. This would be my top salsa if not for the sugar added to give it a tad too much sweetness. I love the garlic & raw onion flavor that goes with the decent spiciness it has.
I'm still looking for that perfect store bought salsa.Hellcat Charger

Guys, if you want real salsa you have to get refrigerated. Preservatives and shit make your salsa taste like asshole. My vote goes for Garden Fresh (Jacks), you will never have a salsa as good as Garden Fresh. For those of you who don't like chunky onions and awesomeness there are other variants available by them. In my experience, "chunky" tastes like shit because most MFG's use mainly tomato.... no one wants to chew on a huge ass tomato. Garden Fresh is a completely different story. Everything tastes as though it was just made couple days ago... It probably was, the expiration dates are pretty short. I can only find it at Kroger, but I live in the boondocks.

Target carries a fresh made "hot" Archer Farms salsa that will blow the balls off a charging rhino at 50 yards

CA markets have less than 1/2 the salsa selections as TX. I can't believe it.

So, I just tried the Garden Fresh salsa Jack's Special Hot (could only find this brand at Kroger) and it was ok. It had too much sweetness for my liking. I really need to find their Roasted Garlic & Green Onion offering. From all the recommendations here, the WalMart Chipotle Garlic is the my favorite of the bunch. My rankings, so far, if anyone gives a shit:
1. WalMart Chipotle Garlic
2. Garden Fresh Jack's Special Hot
3. Joe T's Hot
4. El Fenix
I'm going to try the Target stuff, Clint's, & Hell On The Red next.Hellcat Charger
