Their fried okra rocks. I'm not much of a sauce guy, so I typically don't use much if any of it. Potato salad was good mustard/mayo Texas style.

For north Dallas, Plano, Carrollton area, it's the best I've found other than in lewisville.
    thanks for the call DICK.

    god bless.

It's decent, but whatever you do, don't get the ribs. I used to work part time at the lowes across the street and went there pretty often. I tried pretty much everything and the only thing that really disappointed me were the ribs. I talked to the owner about it the next time I was in and he said its because he didn't make them. He feels he has the best BBQ in the area and is not shy about it. Try a fat jap while you are there, jalepeno stuffed with cream cheese and pulled pork wrapped in bacon and smoked.

heh, I have cookouts every so often, but I am not going to compete or say anything I do is better than someone else's. I just cook it the way I like it and learned to say f' it if you don't like it...cause I DO like it.

I've heard good things about them but have never been there. I need to check them out.

I think these are my top 3 in DFW

              Lockhart
              Hard 8
              Fat Cow
Never been to Fat Cow, haven't been to the Hard 8 in Coppell, but I've been to Lockhart in the Bishop Arts District on a few occasions and wasn't to impressed. This was all in the first 3 or 4 months after they opened, might have to check them out again just to see if it's improved.
