Stuffed hamburgers...

Having a cookout tonight and going to try some simple bacon and cheese stuffed burgers. cook bacon first then crumble down mix in with meat, then stuff with shredded colby jack cheese and diced onion.



Anyone have a favorite stuffed burger or anyone try this?

It's not a stuffed burger, but I recently had a burger with bacon and brisket. Good stuff.

I heard that they are called bronco burgers, but I use chopped fresh jalapenos, cubed Tillamook sharp cheddar and some Lawry's seasoning salt in my burgers.

Mixedup burgers in GP does them, you can get pretty creative on what you would like them stuffed with.

I like bacon and bleu cheese, and occatoinally some pepers and onions, etc. makes them better, IMHO.

I Like to mix diced jalopeno in with the meat then stuff them with a cream cheese, grated cheese and bacon bits mix. Kind of a combination of burgers and jalopeno poppers.

I've made them every way you can think of, and it's hard to go wrong with any of them. Being that it's hatch chile season, I'd stuff with pepper jack, and top with chile made from fresh hatch chiles.
