I am really wanting pizza tonight. I want to try a chicago style pie, has to be deep dish. Any suggestions? Prefer the Dallas County area, since I will be getting it on dinner break tonight. Thanks

Lou Malnati's Pizzeria is home to the best deep dish in Chicago. Lou Malnati's has stayed true to the original Chicago deep dish pizza recipe created by Lou Malnati over 40 years ago.
I doubt they are as good as ordering one fresh in Chicago, but you can get them made and shipped in dry ice for your to cook.
The pizza is delicious.

Their pizza is way better than their website. I know you said Dallas county but I have yet to find anywhere in DFW that makes Chicago deep style with the thick sauce on top. I wasn't a fan of their Italian beef though.

I know this is obviously late, and I haven't tried it but the people at work are always talking about it. http://www.chicagosgourmetpizza.com/index.html

I will say, I'm not a fan of Chicago or NY style pizza, really. But I went there one day, and the tab was around $80 for 3. I didn't think it was very good for the cost, either.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

Thin crust. Real thin crust. Campisi's/I Fratelli's. Eno's. Places that have a really thin crust like that. Anything else is too much dough, IMO.

Clarify your statement, sir. There are various styles of ovens used in NY. And the same goes for here. There are two main types that are most common up there. Deck ovens, and the "brick oven" type. Both of which are in many restaurants down here. I represent a deck oven manufacturer, and a "brick oven" style manufacturer, who is the leading mfr in the US.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.
