    Scalini's?
When we were closer to Lakewood, Scalini's was one of our 2 favorites. This area - Picasso's and Primos ... underwhelmed by both.

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

The wife and I went to Bob's- Omni and it sucked ass, my steak was burnt and hers tasted like shit. Sides tasted bad too. Will never go back. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Picassos and primos? I'd go to coalvines, fireside pies, mellow mushroom, or cane Russo's well before I would go to either of those.

Trying to find new places we like a lot (ie, already been to those).

Stampede 66 is awesome. New Pyle's restaurant near downtown. Wife and I ate there two weekends ago. Awesome atmosphere and even better food. Make reservations though as it's booked out well in advance.

I just had a friend of mine drop a $200 gift card on me to Culpepper's Steakhouse here in Rockwall. Anybody know much about it? I think it's pretty highly thought of out here, but wondered how it compares to Three Forks, etc.

What style of pizza do you like? NY, Chicago, or Neopolitan?

Have you tried Grimaldi's? I've never been, but I've heard good things, and their Zagat rating is good.

Dough is good, but its Neopolitan. Eno's is also good, but it is "northern Chicago" style (cracker thin crust).

We've been to Grimaldi's several times. It's solid, but a little on the high side. The times we've been it has always seemed like everyone in the place was dressed above casual, but it could have just been the afternoons/nights we were there.
