  • Las Colinas Restaurants?

I have worked here for 13 years and have eaten at every damn fast food place around. Do you guys and gals know of any hole in the wall places with good food around here? Thanks in advance.

La Margarita on Beltline and Rochelle

      The Ranch on 114 & O'Connor.

      Andalous on MacArthur for gyros.

San Diego Taco on MacArthur for street tacos.

The first two aren't holes in the wall, really. La Margarita kind of is, it's tucked away in a strip center.

Is this La Margarita's affiliated with the one in San Antonio? It's been a while, but it was good stuff, along with Mi Tierra's down there.

My wife drags us to Mi Tierra's every time we go to San Antonio. It's OK I suppose. I do like the option to get some Pan when you leave.

Not that I'm aware of. It's owned by a local family, who also has some ties to a popular place in Grapevine (Esparza's). It's also where my friend, the chef at Mi Dia, got his start. The food is great. I actually had dinner and a few drinks there Saturday night.

It's been at least 10 years since I've been to either one. Had lunch at one, then dinner at the other...along with a lot of beer and margarita's.

Bread....it's supposed to be somewhat sweet, but it's plain as can be IMO.

I just Google'd it and it looks like it's closer to Irving Mall than 114. Is that right?

I don't know WTF I was thinking. It's at the SE corner of Beltline and Rochelle. My bad!

The fajitas at La Mexicana y el Gringo are the shit! Story & Rochelle. Burger Island @ Story & Rochelle.

I Fratelli's and Bruno's are decent Italian. Not the best ever, but decent.

San Diego Taco, if you're talking about the old Taco Bell building in Plymouth Park shopping center. And I've already mentioned them, as they have another location on MacArthur in Valley Ranch that is probably more convenient.
