I bought it from amazon. Its a maverick, model ET-732. It's under 60 bucks. Has a pretty good range. My bedroom is about 20 yards from the smoker, and it works great at that distance.

Thanks. I found it in amazon, and some oregon scientific as well, but reviews are shit. I really need one.

If you want to go cheap, the previous model (ET-73) works great and is only $30. The 732 is supposed to have a better range.

I've got that same maverick and it works great. Also academy sells one for about $15 bucks that works good also. It just doesn't have a wireless receiver. I use it as a back up when I'm cooking a bunch of meat and it's been going strong for over a year.

I really want the igrill, but when I looked in to them they only had one probe. I'd drop the coin if I could do multiple probes

Yep if the Igrill was a two probe and worked on android I'd pay even more than they are asking.

Concur with both of these, even though I thought about using an iPhone for that particular thing. It has been awhile since I checked it out though.

Still won't connect to wireless network which would cover a portion of my yard, whole house and my shop....which is what I really need to be truly lazy.

That sounds like it could be a pretty good arduino project, Ceyko.

Was reading up on them and it says they are dual probe.
