I'm not sure I'd call it real Mexican food. It's more new age Mexican, with New Mexico influence.
Brent and Brian is still correct in that it's worth going, for sure.
Depends on what you order. There is a tex mex section, and a Southwest section. But most of the menu is Mexico City Cuisine. The building and decor are called Mod-Mex or modern Mexican.
In the SW section they have a steak tampiquena that is absolutely phenomenal. Comes with a red sauce and a green, but I prefer the green and order it with just that. The tex mex items are good too.
The Sea Bass ceviche is out of this world. The duck plate is damn good. The ox eye stacked enchiladas are phenomenal. As are the pork belly tacos.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

The patio is beautiful if it's cool enough to eat outside. You won't find better Mexican food within 100 miles. Thank me later.

But for serious, La Hacienda ain't all that great. I also think Mi Cocina is about as overrated as they come, maybe aside from Uncle Julio's or *gasp* Abuelo's. I've never been to Mi Dia From Scratch, though their menu looks good.
