Go see my buddy at Mi Dia From Scratch on Main in Grapevine. It's right next door to Bob's, a block from the highway. Be warned, this is authentic Mexican, not Tex Mex.

The patio is beautiful if it's cool enough to eat outside. You won't find better Mexican food within 100 miles. Thank me later.

But for serious, La Hacienda ain't all that great. I also think Mi Cocina is about as overrated as they come, maybe aside from Uncle Julio's or *gasp* Abuelo's. I've never been to Mi Dia From Scratch, though their menu looks good.

Mi Dia From Scratch

Quit fucking around and just take her here. It's awesome food, a great ambiance, and if y'all dress up you won't look out of place. Most patrons there are dressed business casual or better.

I work at txdot right next door. Ive eaten there a bunch over the years and well after seeing cock-a-roaches running around constantly on each visit I wont go there anymore.

I just love their wood grilled chicken(most places cook chicken fajitas with oils, which I won't eat).

I went to Mi Dia and took a small group. The food is very good, and the place is nice as well. Currently, getting there from NFW sux.

I'm not sure I'd call it real Mexican food. It's more new age Mexican, with New Mexico influence.

Brent and Brian is still correct in that it's worth going, for sure.
