Bringing this back from the dead to say it was damn good. I had the 3 meat + side that included Brisket, Ribs & Sausage w/pinto beans.
Yes it was worth the $21.
Yes it was worth the 1 hr 12 min wait.
Yes I would only do it on a work day where I am getting paid to have a 2 hr lunch

It's delicious. He used to come by our office with the smoker on a trailer behind his Land Rover every Wednesday for lunch. He was getting too many catering orders to keep doing that so his sister said he set up a spot down at the farmer's market, but I haven't been down there to verify.

We came to the Pecan Lodge today and it is outstanding
The kids has a chopped sandwich
Stacy had the pulled pork
I had the three met plate with sausage, sliced brisket and pulled pork ( they were out of ribs)
We had the fried okra. It was good but just good not outstanding
Mac and cheese was really good
Brisket was awesome
Sausage was really good
Pulled pork was pretty damn good too
The wait was about 55 mins an the line was wrapped around the building inside but you get your food 30 seconds after you sign your bill. We got in line at noon and it is now 1:23p
I would recommend coming if you can be here about an hour and a half or better

I haven't been yet, but I've heard great things about it.
If there's anything Dallas truely lacks is enough good Texas style BBQ.
I still want to try Lockhart BBQ in south Dallas too, but it's such a long trip to both from the north side of town.

anyone ever been there? we just saw it on Diners, Drive In's and Dives and it looked really good
is it worth the long lines that they supposedly have?
