Where to buy a good brisket?
OK smokers, where do you buy your briskets at? Haven't smoked one in a while and I want to get back into it again. I've always bought my briskets from Walmart but want to try something different (better) this time. Any suggestions where to get a good cut from? -

Rancher's Reserve from TT isn't too bad, and was just on sale for $1.49/lb. But for the best quality I've found, David's Meats in Garland. One of the last true butchers around.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

I know there is another butcher shop in Deep Ellum (name escapes me right now) which is a lot closer for me. But since I'm just getting back in I'll probably start with Ranchers Reserve for this weekend.

Originally posted by bcoop View PostHe's not the last one, and didn't say he was. I said he is one of the last. 4 isn't shit for a metroplex this size. There's a few more I'm sure, but still... You know what I meant.
