I been going to a place on Las Colinas blvd, near 114 and O'connor, it is kind of hidden on a little side street, the Granada market. The pizza place next door is pretty good. Both have been there over 15 years.

Is it the one in the little convenient store, across from the apartment office?

Jimmy John's for the bread/Italian Night Club, grew up on Captain Nemo's so I still try to get over there when I can, and the Coppell Deli if I'm really hungry. Austin certainly has the jump on Dallas for good sandwich shops; they're a dime a dozen down there.

You'd have to pay me to eat Subway or Quizno's.

Love 'em. Went to central market a few months back and saw one on the menu. They stuffed it with pork goodness along with some yummy, tasty, peppercorn-crusted liverwurst. It was one of the best sandwiches i've ever had.

I've never had one from Central Market, but I can't imagine they're quite as good as a decent Vietnamese restaurant. When I was in VN, they are 50 cents off the street, so damn good. I love the French baguette and all the veggies.
