      Oh that cool. Didn't know if there was any connection since they are next door in Las colinas and the 5 in the name.

        Nah. Pizza Inn has been very stagnant for years. They nearly killed themselves off due to some seriously bad decisions and terrible management from their purchasing arm. They killed off their purchasing arm about 4 years ago, in an attempt to turn their image around to the franchisees. They gained a little ground, but not enough. At the same time, the pizza buffet thing is struggling nationwide. Oven technology has progressed greatly in the last few years, and they latched on to one, and saw an opportunity for a new fast casual concept.

        For those that haven't been - the whole idea is that you can order a personal specialty pizza, or pick your own toppings, for $6.45 (unlimited toppings), and you will have your pizza in 5 minutes from the time you place your order.
