  • value of this smoker on a trailer?

i know there are some smokers on here and figured you guys could give me a good idea as to what price to sell this at. i plan on selling it on craigslist for a friend, just need to know what is a good price. i think what he wants is a lot lower than what it can fetch

pics were hard to take cause it was so close to the shed

other than being cleaned off with a broom it's ready to smoke

    thanks

Price #1: Way low since it generally looks like shit.

Price #2: I would wire brush it and slap a coat of black high temp rustoleum paint on it. I think after that you could get around 1000-1200 for it. Just hard to be sure without seeing how thick it is and all that.

What is he asking for it? 1000-1200 is my guesstimate after negotiating. I'd probably like at 1500.

It doesn't look terrible but it isn't how I would have done it had I built it.

To clarify on my "Looks like shit" comment. A lot of the buyers out there are going to want it 100% clean, painted and ready to go. Especially if they want buy off from wife/etc. Show that picture to a wife and most women will go "ewww no way." Especially at a higher price range.

Not what I'm talking about at all. The layout on the trailer is almost backwards. I like to step up from the front rather than the back. Cleaning it up and pairing it would be a given, since it is used and I would expect to.
