  • Cutting board?

I broke (my wife did) our cutting board, it split right down the middle. It was a clean break so Im thinking that I can fix it with Gorilla Glue or Wood glue, of course you food peeps know that maybe we wont be able to clean it properly. SHould I try and fix it or buy another one?

Just don't buy a glass one. They trash the shit out of knives. I have a bamboo one that i like, but it requires a ton of oil to keep in good condition. Moreso than a wooden board, i'd say.

I like the bamboo boards too. Softer than maple, not forgiving for your knives.

If the strips of wood became unglued, then yes you can reglue it easily. Otherwise plastic is easier to care for and is pretty inexpensive. Check out www.cuttingboardcompany.com.

you can reglue it with wood glue. just have to clamp the shit out of it. Made my mother a cutting board long ago in wood shop and she still has that thing.

Don't use gorrila glue, the expansion will ruin any kind of seal between the split pieces. Just regular wood glue, a biscuit joiner if you have it and clamp it as tight as you can get it, then let it cure for at least 24 hours.
