I like Five Guys burgers, not expensive, you dont have to wait forever in line and they give you a shit load of fries. I know i've mentioned it before and they are everywhere but i do love the Philly burger from Braums. They must but crack in the one by my house cause i'll usually eat Braums like 6 or 7 times a year.

Eh. I don't get it. Our favorite burger other than me making them at home was always at Khaki's and then owner died. Next favorite is Bobby V's and the Chapps by our place is pretty good, too. Bottlecap Alley in Grapevine is tasty as well. I just don't understand the draw for INO and probably never will.

i tried in-n-out last week for the first time, the one off the DNT. It was an ok burger at best, not crap, but not worth the hype. The funny thing was there was a guy in line ahead of me. I heard him telling another patron he was just trying INO to see what the fuss was about. He got his order and sat down....no more than two mintues later max.

"Fuck this shit....I am going to Whataburger, where they know how to make a good burger."

and with that he left his food on the front counter and walked out. I thought it was pretty damn funny...the manager behind the counter did not see the humor in it I suppose.

For a mom and pop, yes. For a national chain, not exactly. There is stiff competition in the casual restaurant segment, given that Chili's is based here, and Mac Grill and OTB used to be based here. But QSR is entirely different. Bueno is based here, Whataburger is based in TX, DQ, and the list goes on. QSR does very well here.

I tried the fajita chicken taco thing at Whataburger this weekend and was suprised, it was pretty good. They use the same chicken breast as the grilled chicken sandwich.

I have yet to go to In and Out but I had it in Vegas and thought it was just ok. I also have gone to Five Guys one and thought it was kind of gross, the burger was huge and wasn't bad but it was some really greasy shit.

I'm sure Grandys and Krystal Burger fans said the same thing.

Krystal's is by far the worst burger I have ever had in my life. I have yet to try an In and Out.

Never tried InO, but tried Twisted Root the other day, that was darn good! Had The Verde burger, better than I expected. I liked it better than 5 guys, but it was a little slow. This was during the lunch rush on Sunday too tho...

Both Twisted Root and 5 guys are too expensive for a burger, IMO. Between the two, I think Twisted Root is better.

I will be damned if I spend $25 for burgers and fries.

lmmfao. Are you familiar with oversaturation of markets? InO is not Mickey D's. Or Taco Bell, or Sonic, or Whataburger, etc. I bet Starbuck's laughed it off when people said the same thing about them oversaturating the market as well...
