Also, I've been told we are having tamale stuffing for Christmas. That will be interesting, and I'm looking forwarrd to it.
My uncle makes a sausage stuffing too. Lots of sausage, lots of sage. Lots of awesomeness. It is probably my favorite thing to eat at Thanksgivin'. My mom's sweet taters are the shit too.

No comments about my mom's yams, else I start slicin' throats.
How do we forget ourselves? How do we forget our minds?

I was more worried about your fascination with your uncle's sausage.

Stovetop stuffing is some nasty stuff. I've eaten small amounts of it before as a guest to be polite but I'll never have it any other way. The homemade cornbread dressing I make at Thanksgiving from my granny's recipe is awesome. I made 3 times more than we needed and the kids & I ate it the following day as leftovers.

Google some recipes and make it from scratch. You will never buy that processed bullshit again.
Is she from the north? Growing up my family was the only one I knew that made the Thanksgiving/Xmas dressing with white bread. It is so much better than cornbread mush.
