Longer than an hour and a half but I'd head down to Austin and go on a BBQ binge Preferable in Lockhart.

The is a place past Glen Rose called The Loco Coyote. I have ridden my bike out that way and stopped there to eat lunch several times. Food is good and it's a nice scenic view to and from.
