Pappas/Ocean Prime > everything mentioned in this thread. Bobs is a really good choice as well. Expensive food is worth it as a treat to yourself every now and then. I've never been able to get anywhere close to anything this good at home.-1997 Supra- mid 8 second street car

I eat quite a bit of meat(steak, chicken, fish, etc...) and I would NEVER pay $100 on a steak that is going to leave me hungry.
I don't care what it tastes like...I'm gonna be pissed at myself afterwards.
If I wanted a tease, I'd just hit the nudie bar.
I do fork over the money ever once in a while for some TDB and only eat filet mignon w/no bacon, while snacking on some trimmed Picanha.
The garlic sirloin there is pretty good, but a bit fattening for my liking(I am guessing that they must use the bottom sirloin for this, unlike the top sirloin that they make the Picanha with though).
Yes, I have ate at the Big Texan and yes, I finished it with ease.
As a matter of fact, I might fire up the Ducane and swing by Sams on the way home for some tenderloins(best I have found around for the $$$).

That's a nasty ass steak, too. Yuck.
I dont put away near the quantity of food you do, but that 22oz tomahawk is two huge meals for me, three if I order sides.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

Still wasn't nothing to boast about for sure!
Tomahawk is made from a ribeye, which unfortunately I don't eat(due to the high fat content).
I make an exception for tenderloins(which still arent as high in fat content as ribeyes) and taste exceptional.

Anyone who pays $95 for a steak either has more money than they know what to do with or they dont have much sense. I refuse to pay more than $30 for a steak and yes, it better come with a salad and a side. Now going out once or twice a year and spending money like that, maybe an anniversary or something, fine but just to go....no. Not for me.... and I make over 80k a year, sorry...
