I don't know anywhere up here. But in Corpus, Water Street Seafood Company will have a shark on the Blackboard (catches of the day) here and there, but the season has to be right for shark as well.

Almost everything they get is local Gulf of Mexico caught fresh seafood.

I can't find shark anywhere. I'm beginning to think it's either not in season(assuming there is a season) or it's illegal possibly? I'm really not sure and I'm about to just give up. I'm curious though what exactly does shark taste like? haha. And typically what type of shark is it?

I don't have the slightest clue what kind it was. It's been 15 years or so since I had it. Tastes like a meaty fish. Similar to mahi mahi, but even more hearty.

Import food market on Collins and 303 has all sorts of middle eastern food. Goat brains, hearts, cheeses, other... exotic things.

Lonesome Dove serves all kinds of exotic meats, it varies by what's in season though. They always have rabbit, rattlesnake, elk, kangaroo, wild boar, quail, berkshire pork and wagyu beef though.

Calf brains? I believe it is illegal to sell beef brains from cattle that are older than a certain age, due to the risk of mad cow disease.
