I was going to post this, but you really have to be a fan of it, it is very fatty. I love the shit though.

EDIT: I mainly mean the Pittsburg hot links, those little fat-filled lumps of heaven.

You need to head down to Weimar, tx. To Kasper's meat market. I promise you, the Weimar Sausage will be the best you ever have. Plus, all the meat was raised and slaughtered within 15 miles of the place.

Every Wal-Mart I've been to up here carries Meyer's, from Elgin. Some carry a few others, as well.

I stop on my way to Austin every time I go and pick some up. Not that it will help the OP, but luling city market makes a very tasty sausage as well. The sauce is worth taking home a bottle.

I'm nowhere near there, and I go there for all kinds of cheeses, italian meats, etc. I like their dough and fresh pasta too. And usually load up on other stuff, like higher quality cannned tomatos and sauce, infused balsamics, etc. That place is awesome. I seem to get on a kick when I cook, like one week I'll eat nothing but Italian, one week is Mexican, etc. That way I don't have to make trips all the time. lol.
