  • Vacuum Sealer??

Any recommendations for a decent? I've seen some go from about $100 to $500. Like to stay around 150 range if possible.

I've got one of the first foodsavers that ever came out. Well, I did anyways. Go look at Tuesday Morning if you have one near you. I picked mine up for under $100, and it worked great.

Hold out and keep any eye on slickdeals.

I picked one up for $25 free shipping directly from food saver. Also, they run sales where you can buy the rolls of material for 50-60% off

Gonna hold a few more days. Plan on picking up a few pounds of CR salmon when I get one.

Good luck. I can't find any. Haven't been to Central Market yet, but that's the last place I want to go @ $29-39/lb.

I read that they didn't start to fish for them till yesterday. So I'm guessing end of week or sometime beginning of next week.

Where is a good grocery store to look for the CR salmon?

Tom Thumb is where I usually go. It only lasts for a week and a half or so. Usually priced at $9.99/lb. Central Market will rape you on it, at 2-3 times the price. But, when I stopped at TT, the guy said he didn't know if they would get any in, and claimed in the three years he has worked there they have only had it once. I know that's not true, because I buy it at the same store every year.

Rafa- that may be true. I could have sworn season opened last week, according to what I read. Oh well. I'll keep checking.
