      cover in lemon slices

      bake 20-22 minutes

I make it this way about once a week

I also do this, but on a cedar plank on the grill. That and blackened are my favorite ways to prepare salmon.

Try baking your salmon with a little lemon butter sauce, then after cooking throw some capers on top and drizzle with more lemon butter sauce...it's awesome.

Macaroni grill cooks up a pretty decent slab.

a la picatta style. Done it with white fish, but never tried it with salmon

This is what salmon should look like-

Notice how big the stripes are. Took this photo at Mr. Sushi the other night in Addison. Do recommend.

Honestly I'm not a sushi fan but for some reason I'll eat some raw salmon.

Believe it or not, Cheesecake Factory has a pretty good Herb Crusted Salmon. Not cheap, but pretty tasty

Not IMO. All Salmon should look like CR salmon. Deep, dark red. Like Ahi Tuna.

Obviously. The pink tones all taste like shit, imo.

Orange is the way to go.

The bigger the stripes, the better. Think of the stripes like marbling on a steak.

I'm just saying that most people don't know that there are different types of salmon. A lot of people think it's just one fish.

Atlantic Salmon, no matter if they are fresh or salt water fish, are one species and only one species, from the US to Europe.

Pacific Salmon include five major species in the US.

The majors are Chinook, Sockeye, Coho, Pink, and Chum.

Copper River Salmon can include Chinook (Alaskan King), Sockeye, and Coho, acording to the Copper River Salmon folks

Typically that orange color is from farm raised salmon due to the additive canthaxanthin added to their diets.

astaxanthin is also added but constitutes the redness

99% of all Atlantic salmon is farm raised now
