Anybody know of any local places to get good seafood? Grocery stores suck in both the freshness and selection departments and central market is just ridiculously priced. Plan on making some ceviche sometime this weekend.

Couldn't find Sea Breeze, but it appears as if they were closed yesterday (along with everything else). Didn't think the whole "Jesus thing" was a big hit in this country anymore, with the exception of "give me stuff" day.How do we forget ourselves? How do we forget our minds?

Prawns and Shrimp are in the same family technically but differ by a few small things, like how they lay their eggs, and how they breathe.
Most of what you'll find for the public that's a prawn is probably a shrimp.
Up north, or in higher end specialty seafood markets they will classify their prawn and shrimp by name.

Cool
Was wanting to stuff them, wrap with bacon, and throw it on the grill. The "jumbo shrimp" you normally find in the main stores are just not big enough for that. I know they don't have that fresh taste, but better than not eating any at all..lol I forgot all about Central Market. I'll try them and then Captain's Dave.
thanks
