Big 12 Spring Football talk [2011]

Big news on recruiting as far as the spring game goes. Johnathon Gray will be attending the spring game Sunday. It was first thought he wasn't going to make it because he was going to the aggy scrimmage.

Rumors have it he already knows he's going to choose Texas. But like i said, that's just rumors. It was reported though that he wants to make his decision on April 22 before his highschools spring game.

I would say Malcom Brown is more of the Ricky type. And I would put Gray in the Jamaal Charles category

I didn't read the article but i'm guessing it said something along the lines of nothing exciting happened during the game and no quarterback came out as the clear number one.

I sure hope the QB's work hard over the summer. And they should, knowing that the job is up for grabs for the taking.

Better, sure. But 30+ points better? Not hardly.

Do they HAVE to be 30points better? I know their defense will be much better, just not sure how much their offense gets better.

My friend told me yesterday that Colts little brother was the only qb who showed any promise..

I didnt see the game though.

From what i've read on other OU forums, UT had a good defense but the offense looked hideous. I'll probably catch it later.

That's not true, McCoy was the only one to THROW a td. Hell, i was hoping that Wood would come out on top of this ordeal. McCoy had the stats but even then he still didn't look like the no question #1 qb


Yeah, when i was out there for my bday it was kind of a cluster fuck and i really couldn't do what i wanted to. So the next time i know that i'll be out there i'll let you know.

Maybe, but even then you had to ask youself, was that the D looking THAT good or the oline still being THAT bad. Even though i do think the Dline will be alot better this year with some young guys stepping up.
