It is the media stirring up a shit storm to make a buck. But there is something to really look at here. He has done a few things that seemed to be really ego driven. Parking in a fire zone, trying to cut in line in store, going to a mall he has been banned from, and not wanting to pay a $250k bill.

The jeweler issue is still a little unclear to me. There are reports saying David Wells bought the jewelry from January to May last year, but Dez doesn't want to pay. First off, why is he getting this kind of stuff before he has even been drafted. Second, who in their right mind would want to spend 250k on jewelry when they don't have a cent to their name at the time. Third, if Deion Sanders says he is too much of a headcase to deal with, that is sayiing something.

There are some red flags going up, you can't deny that.

Of course he's ego driven. He's a professional athlete. His entire life has been everyone catering to him, making it easy for him, etc. That situation, without proper raising (face it, his mom is a crack whore), will create an ego for anyone. The mall issue was a fluke, IMO. As someone else said, rent a pig trying to get famous. The fucking steakhouse tab issue, that nobody seems to want to let die, is a bunch of hogwash. It's not like HE went out for a $55,000 meal. The team did it to him, and if he wasn't a Dallas Cowboy, it never would have made the news. The shoulder pad deal - Again, only because he's a Dallas Cowboy did it make the news. I wouldn't have carried bitch ass Roy's pads either. I'd have told him very loudly, and publicly, to shove those pads up his ass cause his bloody pussy is leaving a trail.

The way he acts has nothing to do with ego. It's entitlement. Yes, ego from being catered to at OSU and in the NFL have made it worse, but it isn't the root problem. It is completely entitlement. For example, let me make a modified list of what he did and tell me what first comes to your mind.

Parking in a fire zone OR
Parking in a handicapped spot when you clearly aren't handicapped (same entitlement)
Cutting in line at a store (without paying anyone)
Getting mad when someone tells them to pull their pants up
Clearly disobeying the law
Not wanting to pay their bills OR
Spending money on "flossin' " when they don't have the money to spend

Again, it's a CULTURE of entitlement.
