    you know it sounds like he is having fun, but he is doing this because of the lockout situation. He is somewhat serious in this and not doing this as a name plug

      A typical midfielder will run about 7 miles in a 90 minute game, with most of that at a high speed. Other than halftime, there's no stoppage. The skill level doesn't drop much as the game progresses. The fitness level of MLS players is unequaled.

        Or the English Premier League for that matter.

        One example is Wayne Rooney, he is a striker, always attacking, but he will run all the way back to defend a ball when he has to, then haul his ass back up front to set up or score. All this during the entire 90 minutes because he is too valuable to sub.

          It's a lot more common tear in soccer players because of the cuts they are constantly making at speed. I just don't think it's smart to risk a multi million dollar career over soccer.

              i saw some of the game with the reserves... he sucks.

              Props for giving it a try and for giving some publicity to soccer.
              He might stay to train in the reserves to stay fit.
