I have heard Johnson does actually know how to play soccer, but like someone said, can he run around for 90 minutes straight?
Ha funny. Seriously though would be crazy to see. Also Adrian Peterson trying out for a track and field team.

The lockout won't last forever, but a career-ending ACL tear could. Not a very smart move.

Hope he makes the time and they don't give him number 85, lol.

Jesus Christ dude. Negative Nancy much? A career ending ACL tear could happen in an off-season workout.

                        Yeah...playing football.
It's a lot more common tear in soccer players because of the cuts they are constantly making at speed. I just don't think it's smart to risk a multi million dollar career over soccer.

Over the years? 1 in 250,000? A weak-ass analogy, but keep them coming! A lot of professional contracts include "do's" and "dont's" for players, including high-risk activiites (motorcycles, snow skiing, etc). I'm thinking "other professional sports" could be one. I remember when Deion Sanders had to renegotiate a contract to play both baseball and football.

My apologies though, it wasnt you obviously. I still say who cares. If the guy wants to explore other sports and his contract somehow allows it then more power to him. This is the perfect time to do it although Im still lost how a MLS team could take him seriously because as soon as the lockout ends he will probably leave the team and come back to football.

I don't think he has what it takes to make the team, but I think it would help the MLS in the US if he was able to.
