  • Autographed Jersey Value

So I am really not into collecting sports items but I ended up with an autographed Jason Witten game jersey. Any idea of the values on these?? I really do not know much about the value on this stuff anymore. No certificate either.

My advice would be to hold on to that jersey and not sale right away. Witten at the rate hes been going will be pretty great.

Ehhhh my exes dad use to work for Aikman and Smith and we had all sorts of footballs and helmets. I kept waiting for the values to go way up but it never happened. Just not my thing and dont want to pack it away.

Witten is one of the most popular TE's and there's a market out there for his stuff. Does the jersey have a COA? If not then you're maybe looking at $30-50 if you're lucky...but if it does have a reputible COA then $100-125 range looks about right.

w/o the paperwork it is difficult to demand a lot of money out of these items. I collect Dallas Stars stuff and won't spend over 30-50 dollars for ANYTHING w/o a CoA. I do buy the stuff, but it is for my personal collection and to put up on the walls one day.

Even if you're a signature expert, it is easy to get scammed on these things.

With CoA, I've paid 400-600 dollars for some items if it involves 2 or more hall of famers. One was just for a Brett Hull item.

Anyway, I also am picky about what CoA is with it a lot of times too. Especially on those bigger dollar items.

Just to add to this, the type of jersey matters too. Meaning, if it is just some cheaper jersey it'll be less value. If it is a game jersey, it'll be worth more and if it is an actual jersey worn in a game, more on top of it.

            Again though CoA.

Very true, didn't think about that. Good call

It is a new game jersey not the cheap stuff. The person i got it from works directly for him. Thanks though maybe it will make a nice gift. LOL.
