High drama. Keeps people interested when the NFL knows they don't care/looking forward to baseball.

This has turned me off to football. If the NBA does the same thing I'm done with it as well. Same goes for the other sports.

The only reason this is getting delayed is because most of the AFLETES don't have any fucking money and can't afford a lock out. The owners have all the power in this. People are so fucking stupid that they can't save a few god damn dollars here and there.

Most of us laymen do it whilst making considerably less.

Probably. Anything in the middle of the road won't rock the boat.

LOL if they want to argue about who gets the $1 billion, how about they just use it to buy hotdogs and beer so the fans dont have to pay the retarded prices the stadium want. Win/win

kidding of course, this whole thing sucks.

X2 that. Screw all those over paid cry babies. I understand they need to get paid because we enjoy the sport but to get paid how much they get paid is a little stupid.

Always felt professional sports were over the top the last 15-20 years....5 for sure.

I still enjoy hockey, cause generally hockey is a true team sport. NFL and some other sports seem like a bunch of individuals on the team.

It's the fans that pay their salary in one way or another. Yet the FAN gets screwed the most with parking, ticket, concession and other prices - not to mention merchandise.

I guess you've already forgotten about that '04-'05 hockey season that never happened.
