Also, Ranger now play 4 games at Anaheim. They can either let the Angels back into this thing or that can really sink them a bit and there's only a month and a half remaining. Pretty important series!

We get Weaver vs Lewis on Thursday but no Haren. Why the hell is Oliver still pitching at the MLB level? Sure he has a low ERA but if someone tracked the inherited runners that end up scoring I bet he'd be at 15+. Also just took a glimpse ahead at the upcoming games besides just this series with the Angels. The next 20 days are going to be brutal. 7 games against the Red Sox, 7 against the Angels, and 3 against Tampa. Aside from the Yanks, that's the best the AL has to offer. Reading comprehension ownz me. You're right - that's what he meant. Although I think 25 MORE saves is impossible. I don't even think the Rangers will win 25 more game this year. There's 41 games left which would mean they'd need to go 25-16 the rest of the way. I don't see that happening with the schedule they have over the next 3 weeks. I was bashing Oliver's ability to keep inherited baserunners from scoring. He has a very low ERA, which on the surface makes him look like a good reliever. In reality though if there are two runners on and the Rangers are up by two when he comes in it'll be a tied game by the time he gets pulled. I like the guy, he's had a good career and if the game isn't on the line and you need a situational lefty he's perfect.
