No doubt , The Rangers pitching has looked great as of late ..

Think I'll let them face a few "better" teams before I make a decision if they need help in that area.

I think on page one of this thread someone said something like

They better beat the bad teams soundly this year and hope for a split with the good teams to have a chance to go anywhere .

Thankfully they have been doing just that


In other news ..

Can't they do something about Hamilton's lousy at bats during the day ?
Is that just in his head or is there a physical reason he under performs during day light ?

I know people laughed when Hamilton said it is harder to see inyhe sunlight with blue eyes, but, when I got contacts for the first time my doctor told me I would have sensitivity to the sun because of my blue eyes. I am surprised I never heard anyone acknowledge this to back up hambones claims.

Just about everyone in my family have blue eyes , we all wear shades when the slightest of sun is out .

So, I don't doubt that part of it and I've never had a 90+ mph fast ball zing by so , hard for me to judge on what is does with that .

Seems to me there should be some type of glasses,something ?

I can also understand him not wanting to have lasik( or , has he ? )

and ruin what he already has ?

Heath Bell is a lot more likely candidate. San Diego won't be able to afford him next season, they are cellar dwellers and starving for young talent. They'd love to have Borbon, Davis or Engel Beltre along with a pitching prospect like Strop. Feliz would be a good setup man and Bell is the NL version of Mariano Rivera.

True, but who is a better starting pitcher? Ogando, Harrison or Jimenez? I have to give it to Jimenez and put Ogando back in a role he has already thrived in.

Also, I don't believe in flip flopping young pitchers around a lot. - you'll end up with a Joba Chamberlain on your hands - who has no idea what he's supposed to do on the mound.

You shut your whore mouth! And since you asked, YES i have been a Dallas area fan for all teams Smokey. Cub/Boy scouts used to take us to the all the local games, Cowboys, Rangers, Chaperrals, Blackhawks ice hockey at the State Fair collisium too. I really don't follow the Rangers or Stars unil after the Allstar breaks, except for the Boys, they get my undivided attention all tear around...
