That's all fine and well, but Oliver wasn't the reason they lost that game last night. That loss was solely on Lowe.
How do we forget ourselves? How do we forget our minds?

Everything I've head says that Feldman is still struggling with his hip.

You put your head into Feldman's hips? I knew there was something... "queer" about you!

        • Jesus....72 errors and 48 unearned runs by July 4th. That is unbelievable.

Great offense, bad defense. Not a good combination.

Mediocre starting pitching and an abysmal bullpen. Before the season opened, I thought they would win 85-100 games and finish first. I see them winning 80 or less and finishing second or worse now.

I don't really blame it on the pitching. Andrus, and Young have been error making machines. I haven't been watching many games, but EVERYTIME I have seen Young at first he has let a ball get past him on a throw out. He did it in a game against the Astros on the third out of a inning, and two runs scored afterwards, and we lose.

How has he gotten so bad on defense?

There's a reason he's not on 3rd anymore. Now when they play a NL team, they have to find a spot for him when the DH doesn't come into play. It will almost always leave a better field player on the bench.
Andrus had 25 or so errors last year, which was bad, but I think he's already got 16 or 17 this year.

Young's made 2 errors this year. And the play you're talking about against the Astros was a horrible throw from Beltre (error credited to Beltre, who now has 11 of his own). Some upgrade!

Young doesn't have a bad glove, he just doesn't have the reflexes for third base. Maybe not first base either. I'd take his bat and defense at second over Kinsler's.

And Andrus is up to 16 errors this year, which is what he finished last season with.

I am pretty sure I have seen him make more than 2 errors this season, they may have been scored differently, but in my eyes he had some fault in a lot of bad defensive plays.

That bad throw wasn't any different than a routine dig for a 1st baseman. I agree he is a better bat and probably would be ok at 2nd. But then what do you do with the popup king of the West?

I guess I was thinking '09 on Andrus' errors, which was in the 20's. He's really a lot worse this year, then.

Yeah, I got into a discussion here about Young at 3rd and was told I didn't know shit about the game, so I leave it alone.

You can't blame him for not picking a bad throw out of the dirt. You have to blame the guy that threw it for making a terrible throw.

Get rid of him. Blanco can be just as ineffective, maybe more effective.

I don't either, but he can spin on his pecker for all I care, if it means him getting a hit!

                              Don't you mean range?

But I could not possibly agree more with the emboldened statement. I'm absolutely sick of watching Kinsler pop out to deep shortstop.

                              • Webb has more shoulder pain, unlikely in Texas
                                1 hour, 25 minutes ago

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP)—Brandon Webb(notes) likely will not pitch for the Texas Rangers this season after experiencing more pain in his surgically repaired right rotator cuff.

An MRI this week showed some changes in Webb’s shoulder. Another surgery is one of the options being considered by the 2006 NL Cy Young Award winner.

Texas gave Webb a $3 million, one-year contract last winter with hopes that he might be able to join the rotation by midseason.

Webb hasn’t pitched in the majors since the 2009 season opener for Arizona. Before that, he had pitched more than 200 innings in five consecutive seasons for the Diamondbacks.
