Hamilton is playing in Frisco this week with Cruz, one of them will be back this weekend, hopefully both. Gentry is worth a spot based just on his speed, he's one of the best pinch runners in the game with a mediocre bat against leftys and above average defense. I'd rather see Murphy out there than him or Borbon but Warsh still has a love affair with ridiculous speed vs power and clutch hitting.

I'll take Murphy and his extra 80 BA points. Nobody deserves a spot when below the Mendoza line.

Lewis looked great. It's really nice to look at the box score and see one pitcher and no errors.

Harrison didn't throw bad tonight, just mistimed his fuckup. Offense pissed way too many golden opportunities away (Gentry and Andrus better be running foul poles for days for the bunts they popped up). And then the bullpen wrapped it all up with their usual awfulness.

Harrison was fine. The pitching could be better, but it's not totally to blame. He's not playing Moreland right now (they pinch-hit him at the end...too late), and play Gentry and his no-hitting ass (sorry BP). Kinsler had another 0'fer. This team should have no problem scoring 4 runs in a game. Their LOB numbers are stupid-high.

At least the errors have slowed down.

Kinsler is just fucking worthless. We could really just use some guys getting healthy in the outfield to simplify that mess. I really wish that Wash wouldn't ever play Borbon again.

Hamilton and Cruz playing up in Frisco tonight and tomorrow on rehab. Hamilton is set to be checked out tomorrow and ready for callup. I'm hoping we have both back for the weekend. Aside from the Philly pitching, I expect some offensive fireworks again here soon.
