  • should be a good game tonight with CJ vs. the Pineda kid. That kid is like 4-1 with a 2.00 era. I'll be using the split screen tonight with the Mavs on, too.

    • No worries here. Injuries suck but as long as they are solid in September it'll be a good season.

      • keeping Wilson in instead of bringing in the bull pen has been the smartest choice washington has made in the last 10 days

Bullpen, Holland, Harrison, and Lewis are the only areas of concern for me. I'm confident Washington will get the sloppy defense cleaned up, and I'm somewhat confident Lewis will come around, but I have no faith in the other areas I mentioned.

          • I have not lost faith in Harrison just yet.. getting knocked around a bit was needed.. imho.. I'm just waiting for ogando to fall into the same category(although i hope it does not happen as harshly) and pick themselves back up.

Kinsler has been around solid for a few years.. I'm sure a hey quit playing like a bone head will get his hat on straight. Feliz said is set to return this friday and Lowe is back to replace Strope.. All will be alright, but if I was a betting man I'd say that we'll just have to get use to the bullpen woe's again and hope the bats stay hot more often than not. Not to mention Hamilton will return soon so having both him and Cruz assuming he recovers from his lil injury soon will be a plus..

Ogando got knocked around in New York. They were still in a position to win but, surprise, the bullpen collapsed.

Failed to catch the game again tonight, but I saw two more errors in the box score. That shit is getting out of hand and it's costing runs.

I agree on Lewis coming around. I think Harrison will probably come around, a little adversity was probably constructive for him. Holland is probably going to be hit or miss all season and the bullpen is going to be a mess, period. Feliz and Hunter coming back will help in that respect, and maybe Feldman could contribute when he gets back (that's a big maybe).

edit: Not sure if I used the word 'probably' enough in this post. Finals > me.

I was between the Mavs (Hell, Yeah!) and the Rangers. I missed the Andrus' error (his 8th), but saw Kinslers (5th?). A win is a win, but damn. I'm old, but I can't remember the last short-stop to have 40+ errors and the last 2nd baseman to have 25+, on a decent team.

                  • I hate night games on West coast, why ? Because I have to wake at the slightest hint of daylight and can't watch the damm things !

CJ has been doing all he can to get a W

Rhodes, Oliver --blah, combined age that of our national debt !

Lousy road team so far ,relief pitching is a problem

                    • Another loss, another error. Pitching wasn't bad, though. 2-5 on that miserable road trip. Yankee's, the A's, then the Angels. This might not be a fun homestand, either.

Yessir. He's still pissed that the Ranger's gave him away. He was so much better than Chrissy Davis, it wasn't funny. He never got a chance here. I really like Mitch Moreland, but Smoak is a player, too.

I figure tonight is a loss thanks to the time Texas got in. Suppose to be like 6 am Texas time. The Skanks were already in town I bet when Smoak hit the homer.

Wonder if Seattle likes the Lee/Smoak trade?
                              Some cars and a bike...

Some say... they have been raced, some a lot

Considering Lee is long gone and Seattle got a "keeper"? You betcha!
