To answer Tony: The Rangers pissed away too many opportunities to score. Plus, when your starter gives up 1 earned run and you have 3 errors in the field? Quit kissing their ass...

It goes both ways. Wilson gave up 1 ER, but their starter gave up 0. It's easy to say the Rangers should have been able to put up more than 1 run, but Chicago is the only team that's been able to do that against him so far this season.

I'm not kissing anybody's ass. I'm just reminding you that pitching is king, and no offense is going to consistently light up good to great pitching.

Box score says 2 errors, one of which was on Borbon's 'error'. They certainly did give up several chances to score, but that's kind of how most teams have fared against Cahill this year. I'm not ready to declare that the sky is falling over it either.

Three errors. The Rangers left 12 men on base. Cahill walked 3 guys in the first inning, and they still couldn't score.
The sky's not falling, but they better change their ways: 20+ team errors already.

MLB.com and ESPN.com both say 2 errors - a dropped foul ball and bad throw by Kinsler. With all due respect, I'm inclined to believe them over a bitter old man that has been known to err on the side of "the sky is falling".

I wouldn't say the sky is falling, but 25 errors in 28 games is not the mark of a defending American League champ.

By the way, Borbon was charged with 2 errors originally, then the scorer retracted one and made it a hit (should have been an error, but the A's were home). Julio did not have a good day in the field.
