I like the Red Sox. They're my 2nd fave team behind the Rangers of course. I've liked the Red Sox for a long time, simply because I hate the Yankees. I'll never root for them against the Rangers though.

That was sweet in the 4th inning. Sox intentionally walked Hamilton to load the bases and then Beltre went yard for the grand slam. Rangers scored 6 runs after there were 2 out.

Rangers are going 162-0 this year. J/k but they will win some where in the 92-95 games this year.

This is a great opening to this season. The offense and defense is just stellar so far!

12-5 headed to the bottom of the 8th. I think they've got this one pretty much locked up.

21 runs on 25 hits to start the season. Can't complain too much about that.

Cliff Lee's 1st game with the Phillies...7 IP 4 hits, no walks, 11 Ks. Kinda nice to get that out of someone who's not the staff ace. I don't think we'll miss him this year though. We can get to the playoffs w/o him.

I stopped liking the Red Sox when they broke their WS drought. I liked them because they were the Yankees' underdog; now, they're just almost as bad as the Yankees.

I don't think we'll miss him this year though.

You couldn't be more wrong. Their pitching, especially starting pitching, is thin.

We can get to the playoffs w/o him.

They pretty much got to the play-off's without Lee last year, but they will miss him. Run support these first two games has been great, and won the games. We still haven't seen the 3-4-5 part of the rotation, but I'm pretty sure they will miss Lee (or any quality starter for that matter).

BTW, Beltre has already made me forget about the last 3rd baseman.

Randy- 2 games in and you already forgot about Young? Lol. His defense was horrible at times, but he just made a tough play at 2nd. Granted, this isn't a high pressure situation....

5k's through 2 2/3rds so far Harrison is surely holding his own this afternoon. That and both singles were very weak. Make that all three singles... Nice play by blanco though on the ball.

He's at 2nd base. He no longer has the range or speed for 3rd. 'Nuff said.

P.S. I'd never take Kinsler out of the line-up again (OK, DH is OK).
