Just an update, the Rangers kicked ass into the All Star Break. Back to back sweeps.

Thanks to the Yankees we have 2 starters and 3 reserves playing tomorrow. Congrats to Ogando, Beltre, Hamilton, Young and CJ!

Beltre is starting at 3rd thanks to A-rods pending surgery, Hamilton was voted in by the fans and Ogando is in because C.C. pitched yesterday.

Now Warsh needs to make Weaver pitch a complete game and blow his shoulder out!

Feldman was just placed on waivers. He comes off the 60 day DL today and there isn't a spot on the roster for him. Good luck to the guy!

True, I doubt anyone will claim him. He's owed $10 million over the next two seasons. He'll be the king pimp in Round Rock for awhile until one of our starters goes down.

Rangers win #8 in a row last night, 5-0. Holland went the distance. An interesting stat I saw in the game writeup: He is the first Ranger to throw back-to-back shutouts since Charlie Hough had three straight Aug. 28-Sept. 7, 1983, two years before Holland was born.

Since we're playing Seattle, I just happened to notice that Justin Smoak is having a great year! LOL Batting .229 with 12 HR and 43 RBI. He's gonna be a decent player, but I don't think he'll ever have great stats as long as he's playing in Seattle. That's not a great hitters park.

It took a few seasons for Adrian Gonzales to get in the groove but look where he is now. Smoak has a very off Ichiro, a worthless Figgins and a decent catcher helping him out. Otherwise they can just pitch around him. He's going to struggle as long as he's playing with a bunch of hitters that belong in AA ball. Lucky for them they have a very good pitching staff!

They turned around and activated Feldman. It was either be in the rotation in AAA or be in the bullpen in the majors. He chose the majors.

I think they sent O'day down to AAA.

They need to keep O'Day and Feldman and send Rhodes or Oliver to the minors.
