  • The absolute worst team in baseball, completely plagued by injuries just made us look like a high school team this series. Absolutely pathetic.
How do we forget ourselves? How do we forget our minds?

When you consistently leave the ball up in the zone you get rocked. There's not much else to it.

Yeah. I don't know what's going on. Hopefully, it's just a mini slump. The bats have gone quiet. Most of us here have said all along that as long as the Rangers are hitting, they'll beat anybody. But, if they have to rely on that rotation day in and day out, they're a .500 team at best.

They're going to have lulls here and there, that's how the game goes. They had been on a decent little tear before these last few games, so I'm not really going to be worried unless they keep this up.

            • Cruz is off the wagon again and the pitching has fallen apart recently. Bad omens for the second half. Hopefully they'll be able to take the game tomorrow.

Funny how a couple of days makes a difference, huh? Giving up 24 runs in 2 games concerns the shit outta me. The Rangers now have 2 guys that are hitting right at .300 (Chavez only has about 60 at-bats). Maybe 4 runs will be enough for CJ to get a win today?

                  • Wow, Oliver had bases loaded in the bottom of the 9th and got out of it.

That last hbp was total crap, I watched the game through slingbox with a 48k connection (grainy and jittery) and heard it hit the wood. Oh well, we'll kick their asses again in the playoffs.

                        • CJ had a good game, 10 strikeouts in 8 innings. Rangers bats need to wake the fuck up.

I wasn't really concerned until the pitching and hitting went at the same time. CJ and the pen did a decent job today; the offense has to do more against a two guys that were just picked up off waivers.

The sky isn't falling in my Rangers world or anything, but these next couple of weeks are going to be crunch time for them. I might have been a little more insouciant towards their struggles a few days ago than I should have been. Oh no.

                              • no props to Lewis for that bunt down the first base line...it was clean especially for a player that does not do glove work usually..
