EDIT: So Don here's the question, if you think it's not your irons you hit with, then why not spend every extra minute you have at the driving range fixing your swing with your driver till it's perfect to prove it's not the irons?

Haha glad that question worked. Seriously, I wasn't trying to stir the pot or anything, I just didn't read every single response, just picked a few to read. Glad to hear you're working on that swing. If you find you're not improving much then you should think about some simulator time at a PGA Tour store with a pro or even heading to a local Golf Tec to spend some time with a pro.

When you say "sims don't help change bad positions if you're unsure how you get there", are you referring to bad positions as in your swing setup? Or bad positions in reference to where you currently lie on the course? And when you say how you get there, are you referring to how you get to the pin?

I'm refering to position of the club and it's path in relation to my body position.

I will fix this next weekend...give me two hours on the range. You just have to be athletic enough to make these adjustments and still get the club on the ball.
