Perez is solid when he isn't hurt. I've seen the Rangers ruin young pitchers for a long time though. Darvish will walk. I also bet he won't make all his starts. He never has.

The WBC started today and Israel has already upset Korea.

Looking at the rosters I see Kinsler is playing for the USA this time. That and the Dominican roster looks like a dream team!

Cueto, Rodney, Volquez pitching with Beltre, Cano, Machado, Hanley Ramirez, Jose Reyes and Carlos Santana in the infield. Then the outfield is Bautista, Cruz, Marte and Polanco.

For the USA Dyson and Lucroy are playing. It should be a competitive tournament.

If Will (Middlebrooks) xan get back to his rookie form he will be a great addition. Hopefully our AAA coaches and him being closer to home will help him regain that spark!

Looks like Will's performance at the plate was solid compared to spring training the last few years, however, he was assigned to AAA Round Rock. Hopefully he gets a chance to play in Arlington this year.

Barely tangentially related, today's game had the worst flyover I've seen



Today was four T-38s from a training squadron. Traditionally the flyover is at the end of the National Anthem. Today they were at least 20 seconds late... and, fuck, they were quiet. On time, and afterburners, motherfuckers! This is America!
